Shore Scuba Diving at North Bay, Port Blair

North Bay Island, a short speedboat ride from Port Blair's Water Sports Complex, is one of the most accessible scuba diving spots in the Andamans. Unlike deep-sea diving, this is shore/shallow diving on a coral reef that starts at just 2 meters and drops to around 8 meters on a sandy seabed — ideal for first-timers, non-swimmers, and anyone without a diving certification. A certified Divemaster accompanies you throughout, with on-shore training covering basic safety and underwater communication before you enter the water.
