fter breakfast around 9 AM, we head to the second highest peak of South Andaman Islands, Mount Harriet. We first proceed to Chatham where we board a vehicle ferry that will take you to Bamboo flat. We will then drive around 15 Kilometres from the coast and later through the curvy mountain roads to reach Mount Harriet. Mount Harriet is a forest reserve that comes under the administration of the islands. Upon reaching Mount Harriet, you can view the 20 Rupee note site. From Mount Harriet, you can overlook both North Bay Island and Ross Island. The view here is just perfect. You can as well trek for some time around Mount Harriet. A trekking trail is available at Mount Harriet which you can explore by yourself. The rich biodiversity of this place is a treat to experience.
